Once a smokehouse for nearby Smithfield Market, this home has been transformed into an oasis of architectural beauty and luxury living. A truly stand-out home, it’s hard to believe this huge loft space – with its triple-height beamed ceilings, picture windows and brick walls – is tucked away in a quiet courtyard just minutes from bustling Farringdon station. From the antique furnishings, eighty-four-inch HD projector screen and Sonos speakers in the living room to the master bathroom’s underfloor heating and freestanding tub, every single detail here has been carefully curated to create a haven of relaxation and eye-catching wonder. We love the mezzanine with its comfortable sofas, perfect for hiding yourself away with a good book. The kitchen, too, is a highlight with its original steel fire door, Gaggenau appliances, breakfast bar and open-plan layout. And we would be remiss to not mention the master bedroom with its vintage bed and hand-drawn Picasso piece. Whether you need to catch up on work at the stylish mid-century desk, get a workout in with the water rowing machine or spend quality time together over dinner at the deep-walnut Danish table, your needs are more than catered for in this remarkable home.
