Minimalist design without Scandinavian influences is hard to come by these days, making this chic home stand out. With a cowhide rug and industrial modernist chairs in the living room, we felt like we stepped into a stylish New Yorker's pad – that is, until the azulejo details brought us right back into Alfama. This home is located five minutes from the emblematic Castelo de S. Jorge and a twelve-minute walk from the scenic Miradouro da Senhora do Monte. But, if you'd rather give your feet a rest, you're right next to a stop on the famous number 28 tram, which means you're never more than a few steps away from a Lisbon sightseeing adventure.
