Ask the host anything
Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Oliver is really keen on building communities, which is why this home comes with a lot of shared facilities (like the sauna, lounge, and garden). Even though it’s small, it’s well-designed, full of natural light, as well as colourful artworks and furniture – and we also like how it encourages you to unwind. The immediate area isn’t the liveliest (the buzzing parts of Friedrichshain are a short metro ride away), but it opens up to the communal garden with lots to do.

Home truths
The rooftop terrace, sauna, BBQ, garden, and downstairs kitchen are all communal – great for socialising, not so great if you like your privacy
The bed is only 140 cm wide – it’s definitely on the smaller side
The bedding and complimentary toiletries are not as luxurious as we would have liked them to be
When we visited, we noticed a little bit of wear and tear here and there
The french windows open directly onto the communal garden, so it's not very private
There are shared laundry facilities
