In the soulful district of Las Letras, you'll be surrounded by houses of famous Spanish poets, as well as gorgeous cafés where you can pen your own masterpieces. Creativity continues with the trio of galleries known as the Art Walk, of which the first is just a ten-minute walk from this equally artistic home. The apartment is a typical Madrileño style, full of character and curious design details. With high ceilings and French doors opening on to balconettes, there’s a wonderful sense of space and light throughout. Wood is the material of choice in most rooms, which creates a pleasantly warm atmosphere – especially in the bright communal area. We absolutely love the vintage furniture and original, abstract art that shows off the host's creative flair, as well as some of the eclectic choices of colour. Find a cherry-red bathroom, a cobalt-blue alcove at the entrance, and forest-green shutters on the balconies. You might not find rainbows very often in the sunny climate of Madrid, but you can certainly find one at home.
