Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

With high ceilings and plenty of light (even though it’s on the ground floor), Contessa Coming From The Sea is a very welcoming space. It’s just along the road from Piazza del Popolo, one of the most recognisable squares in the city, and the gardens of Villa Borghese are also thereabouts. It’s just worth noting that there’s a bar outside one of the windows. It’s only open during the week, and it closes at 7pm, but it gets quite loud during the day.

Home truths

You might not get an in-person check-in

The flat's on the ground floor, so there's no view to speak of

There's a bar just outside the bedroom window, so it can get quite noisy during the day

While there is a small gallery above the bedroom, the space is completely empty

Two people can sleep on a sofa bed in the living room, but they wouldn't have much privacy

About Flaminio

Lying just north of the city center, on the left side of the river Tiber, Flaminio stretches from Piazza del Popolo all the way up to Ponte Milvio —the Roman "Bridge of the Arts". Named after Via Flaminia — one of the most ancient Roman roads, connecting the capital to the Adriatic Sea — this neighbourhood is more about modern art & architecture than history. It was, indeed only after...
