Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Set in a red-brick Victorian school, this characterful home boasts an open living area with a southwest aspect, making it a great space to hang out after a busy afternoon. There are no new pieces of furniture here – everything is vintage or second-hand, with the antique dental chair and F1 car chassis being our favourites. If you're looking to catch up on work, there's a snug study room and a quirky library. Meanwhile, the apartment building offers a communal roof terrace with impressive skyline views. The location is ideal for those wishing to stay in a more alternative area of the city, yet only ten minutes away from London Bridge via the tube – Elephant & Castle Station is a seventeen-minute walk away.

About Walworth

Just behind the bustling Elephant and Castle Roundabout, you'll find Walworth Road, the main throroughfare of Walworth. The joy of this street lies in the fact that despite being so close to the centre of London it has somehow – so far – managed to avoid full-blown gentrification and Starbucksification. It’s a brilliantly diverse stretch of road, teeming with life and colour: spit-and-sawdust pubs next to Ghanaian restaurants, tailors next...
