Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This is an artist’s retreat if ever we’ve seen one. Recently revamped by your creative host, this is a truly unique space and perfect for guests who are looking for character and soul in their accommodation. The neighbourhood is not quite as polished as nearby Williamsburg, but it offers an authentic look at Brooklyn - the many cafes, bars, art galleries and concert venues are proof of the lively character of this area. On top of that, the L Train, Williamsburg's transportation artery, is a mere two-minute walk away and can get you to Lower Manhattan in fifteen minutes.

Home truths

The third bed is located in a charming, but very small space above the kitchen and will require some nimble climbing

This is probably not the place to flex your culinary muscles – the kitchen is rather compact

The living room is equipped mainly with floor seating which might be difficult for some

There is a bar across the street and trucks pass by this area, so you can expect some noise from the commotion

About East Williamsburg

East Williamsburg might not yet be as gentrified as Williamsburg proper - it still retains a grittier, more industrial feel - but the sense of change here is palpable. Host

This home is managed by Liz

This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Your lovely host Kristen is an artist who has singlehandedly renovated the entire home. We are really quite smitten with the playful interiors and her personal stamp on the space. Her passion for the environment and reducing the carbon footprint are evident in her use of environmentally-friendly products, paints and recycled furniture. She is a real treat and so is her home.
