This striking green home makes the most of its secluded forest location. Surrounded by towering pine trees, this retreat offers plenty in the way of peace and quiet and we're sure you'll spend hours outside, listening to the chirping birds and feeling at one with nature. The expansive garden is a draw in the warmer months — challenge a friend to table tennis, curl up on the outdoor sofa, or fire up the grill and enjoy a communal meal on the deck. Better yet, relax with a glass of wine in the private hot tub under the stars. Inside is bright and cosy, with modern furnishings, comfy bedrooms, and stylish bathrooms. The brick fireplace is ideal for winter, while there's also darts and table football in the games room to keep everyone entertained. With hiking trails and Kings Beach just ten minutes away by car, and the slopes of Northstar resort about twenty, you can't find a better place for a holiday in the great outdoors.

About North Tahoe
On the border of California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is one of the largest bodies of water in the US. As you'd expect, it's an area of astounding beauty, but the lake has also made a name for itself as a centre for both winter sports and water sports, as well as hiking and cycling. The north shore is a bit quieter and more relaxed than the south. While there's still plenty to do (including the annual food and wine festival), you're unlikely to see crowds like you do in other parts of the region.
