The Cottage at the Dene takes leisure seriously. There are lots of things to keep you busy, even though it's such a small cottage. From the barbecue to the tennis courts, there’s plenty in the immediate vicinity, but perhaps most special is that staying here includes membership to the famous Goodwood Estate. When you’re at home, however, you’ll still get a good dose of the traditional English countryside, and a wander through the thatched cottages of the local village really is something special.

Home truths

The cottage is rather small, so while there is a sofa bed in the living room, four people at once would be a bit of a squeeze

When we measured the wi-fi, it was only 4Mbps

Unfortunately there's no washing machine in the flat
