This place is made for lazy days beside the pool, morning coffee on the mezzanine balcony, or simply soaking up the southern Portuguese sun on a lounger. There’s a private gym for the particularly virtuous, but if you’re in need of some extra relaxation (and let’s face it, we all are), we’d skip straight to the complex’s on-site spa. Guests here can take advantage of tennis courts, golf courses, bars and restaurants all on the complex’s grounds. Though there’s plenty to keep you entertained in the privacy of your own home – bikes for adults and children and a games room with ping pong. In the cool of the evening, the living room set around a working fireplace is the ideal spot to cosy up as a family.
