With the imposing skyline of the Taurus Mountains etched on one side, and the Lycian waters on the other, this home hits just the right spot between rustic and luxe. With all the trappings of the traditional home, it’s a welcoming vibe, but the surprising touches bring a smile to your face. To name a few, you have enormous in-bedroom bathtubs and a statement-making round master bed. It’s unpretentious and feels natural, so you’ll immediately have that sense of ease, but brims with local touches and characterful flavour. With plenty of games, we envisage afternoons going from hammock to pool table, while the barbecue fires up. Islamlar has a smattering of pretty boutiques and eateries, while Kalkan is full of life and vibrant colour. And come evening, when the sun softens over those thicketed views, you’ll know you arrived.
