Rising like a modernist miracle from the Cretan cliffs, this three-floor villa melds into the surrounding landscape. From the angular pool overlooking the Aegean Sea to the five – yes, five – outdoor terraces, each element seems hewn from nature. Every room has floor-to-ceiling windows to make the most of that stupendous view, and if you’re lucky enough to have the master bedroom, you can even look out to it from the tub. You’ll have total privacy here – although on the flip side, you won’t be able to get anywhere without a car. If that’s no issue, you’re in luck! The gorgeous Elafonisi beach and Balos lagoon are just a short drive away.
