Our first impressions of this being a simple, sleek home were quickly changed when we realised how many cosy corners exist here, prioritising comfort above all else. This eighteenth-century cottage has been furnished with all modern luxuries while maintaining its rustic charm. And then, just as we thought we had it all figured out, we stepped into the kitchen and discovered an ancient well that's been preserved under a glass cover. The outside garden is perfectly manicured and a lovely place for reflection, and since you'll be staying in a calm village, you'll get to enjoy the atmosphere of serenity both in and around the house. When you're ready to venture out, the National Trust's The Courts Garden is literally on your doorstep, while Bath's historic sights are a mere twenty-minute drive away, making for an excellent culture-packed day trip.
