If you’re visiting San Diego, but want something a little calmer & less hectic, then la Jolla is a great option, and La Horizonte encapsulates everything that makes the seaside village so special. First and foremost, it’s a five-minute walk to Windansea Beach, known throughout the world for its waves. It’s also only twenty minutes on foot into the heart of La Jolla village, which is home to some charming independent shops and restaurants. The home captures the warmth and colour that embodies the Spanish Revival style La Jolla is famous for. The garden feels like a little haven with it’s pool and hot tub, but our favourite part of the home (other than the location), is probably the roof terrace. It’s the perfect spot to retire to at the end of the day, cocktail in hand, watching the sunset sky slowly changing colour as the sun drops below the horizon.
