Even though Where the Sun Rises is a little farther from the ocean than other homes in La Jolla, we feel that this plays to its advantage. With a large pool, an outdoor jacuzzi, and an elevated position in the Muirlands, you'll find that the quiet location adds an all-too-needed touch of serenity while keeping you well-connected to all parts of La Jolla. You can easily walk to the beach or the Village, then return to your hilltop residence for some well-deserved rest after your expedition. A typical day here can start with a walk around the huge landscaped garden that surrounds it or a quiet cup of tea in the back yard. Those who prefer a little shock treatment can jump into the pool straight away, and you don't need to go any farther for the rest of the day if you want to relax — this home is a complete retreat. In the evenings, watch the sunset by the fire pit or play a game of air hockey with the family. When it gets chilly, retreat to the lounge for a movie night by the flat-screen TV.
