Set in an enviable spot high above the harbour in vibrant Brixham, this home is all about its vistas. The living area is thoughtfully on the first floor, so you can take in those views across the bay to Torquay from the sofa. Or step out onto the balcony to sip your morning coffee in the sunshine. If you manage to peel yourself away from the seascapes, there's the added surprise of a secluded, south-facing garden outside - the perfect suntrap for alfresco socialising. Spread out over three floors; we're fans of the sense of space here. The crisp-white bedroom on the ground floor has direct access to that pretty, walled garden, while the other two bedrooms up on the top floor make the most of those sea vistas. Spend your days exploring the quaint cafes and independent shops that Brixham is famous for and source the catch of the day from the market to cook up a fish feast at home – the harbour is just a five-minute stroll downhill. And if you want to head further afield, Torquay is just a twenty-five-minute drive. Or, for a more peaceful outing, Berry Head Nature Reserve (a six-minute drive away) and many scenic coastal trails are just a stone's throw away.

About Brixham
If you’re looking for a friendly, traditional town from which to enjoy the English Riviera, consider booking a place to stay along the cobbled streets of Brixham. Clustered along the water’s edge and rising with the hills, the homes of Brixham are a particularly pretty sight at night, when the light from their interiors reflects off the sea below. But that’s not to say they’re not delightful in the day,...
