The colours of the Kent seaside are brought inside in this light and airy apartment. Soft blues roll like gentle waves against sandy colours, and the rattan furniture will remind you of picnic hampers on shingle beaches. Nowhere is this more prominent than the living area, where a glorious bay window and French doors frame the beach view like a painting. These doors lead out to the decked sea-facing balcony – sit down and enjoy a moment of quiet, staring out across the water and breathing in the salty air. And a moment of reflection will be necessary here, as there’s so much to keep you busy in the pretty town of Hythe, from artisan shops to boat trips on the Military Canal, a trip on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch miniature railway and walking along the Victorian promenade.
