Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Is there such a thing as a palatial cabin? This home certainly feels like there is. On the shores of Lake Tahoe, it’s got all the rustic vibes you’d want for a get-away-from-it-all break, thanks to its high ceilings, exposed beams and woodland views framed in the windows on all sides. The location couldn’t be better for outdoor adventures – within walking distance of a private beach and swimming pool, and just a mile from the Homewood Ski Area. Every bedroom has its own balcony access, encased by pine trees, so it’s a great spot for wannabe woodsmen and women who feel the need to get out into nature at any hour (a sunrise walk down to the lake’s shore is highly recommended). While feeling gloriously remote, this place has every little luxury you could want from a lakeside cabin, including a cosy fireplace, seriously huge sofa and chandeliers in the living room. There’s plenty of room for the bustle of mealtimes in the kitchen, where a stained-glass window lets in some rainbow light. After a day out in the snow or sun flop down on one of the king-size beds.
