This charming barn conversion in Devon is the perfect rural retreat. One of a number of homes the huge old farm building has been split into, it sits alongside its neighbours in beautiful shared grounds. For the interior, think stone floors, big wooden doors and exposed beams. The furnishings are comfortable, with deep rugs to warm up the tiled floors. Bathed in natural light, the open-plan living space has a wall of windows to one side, and double doors opening to a small terrace. A great spot for catching the sun and taking in the views, it comes with a table and chairs for dining alfresco if the weather is on your side. Head to cultural attractions nearby such as Tiverton Castle or the Bellbrook Valley Fishery for fun family days out.
