With its textured walls, honey-coloured shutters and shingled roof, this charming casa was made for laidback holidays. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that it’s opposite a ten-kilometre stretch of sandy coastline either. The interior is resolutely modern, with white walls, shiny fittings and minimalist decorations. But it’s outside where the magic happens. In your wraparound garden, you’ll find multiple seating areas, including an elegant white-and-grey, shaded patio, sun loungers, a private pool, a beautiful stone grill and the cherry on top – a wet bar for experimental cocktail evenings as the sun goes down. And we aren’t quite finished yet – if you’re wondering why a single-storey home has a staircase to the side, it’s because you’ll find a hidden terrace up on the roof, where you can laze in the sunshine and look out to the beach to watch the waves roll in. When you aren’t bobbing over the currents in the warm waters – the ocean temperature fluctuates from 20-24 degrees year-round – head to the complex’s shared pool to rinse off the sea salt and mingle with the neighbours.
