Less than ten minutes from the panoramic ocean views of Lovers Point Park, get ready to fall in love with this purple palace of a home. The exterior seems almost iridescent as every hue of lavender shimmers in the sunlight. This intricate pattern looks more like dragon scales than traditional woodwork, the makings of a truly fantasy home. Built in 1916, it retains a lot of original interior features with a modern twist – the fireplace, the vintage claw-footed bathtub, and iron bedsteads are just a few worth mentioning. You’ve got a cute purple balcony to enjoy a cup of tea with views of Monterey Bay, or stay down at ground level in your private garden with a chilled glass of Californian white. Rustle up some burgers for the kids on the barbecue for lunch and enjoy alfresco dining. With Monterey Bay Aquarium just a mile away, keep the little ones entertained for the day and then head out for dinner along the coast on Cannery Row.
