With its cosy lounge, sprawling outside deck and large windows letting in plenty of natural light, this homely San Diego apartment has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the sun-kissed city. A neutral colour scheme is inviting and soothing. We were particularly fond of the L-shaped couch festooned with over-stuffed cushions – it’s the perfect spot for movie nights or a quiet moment with your favourite book. Outside, a patio boasts stunning sunset views across Point Loma. Get comfy on the alfresco sofa. There’s something therapeutic about watching the planes take off from the airport in the distance – we could’ve watched them for hours, glass of California’s finest wine in hand, tucking into a plate of nibbles...
