This Brentwood home doesn’t do things by halves. Every inch of this home has been considered from small details, like the bespoke fireplace and digital shower, to the real showstoppers – think shimmering pool, mini-basketball court and fitness room. Mornings here pose somewhat of a dilemma. Do you begin your day on the roof deck overlooking the Santa Monica Mountains or perhaps you’ll prefer being in the vegetable garden, picking fresh pomegranates to accompany breakfast? The gourmet kitchen will stop even the most discerning chef in their tracks – and that’s without mentioning the walk-in pantry and wine storage. Then, there’s the sleek living space with big squashy sofas – that’s where you’d find us, fit to burst after a barbecue feast dished up on the patio. The idea of leaving, even for a second, sounds out of the question, but we thoroughly recommend taking the twenty-five-minute drive down to Venice Beach for ocean swims and walks along the promenade. And when you head back to your pad, rinse sandy toes in the outdoor shower, before making a beeline for the enormous spa bathtub in the master en-suite for a long, hot soak.
