Eclectic yet stylish, this historic cottage in Childswickham has a whole heap of personality. The building dates back to the 18th century, and you can still find plenty of original features, from the honey-coloured Cotswold stone and wooden beams to the traditional inglenook fireplace. Each room has its own distinct character, and you'll love kicking back and relaxing here between adventures in the English countryside. The living space is ultra-cosy, with a grandfather clock and electric stove, along with a selection of books to leaf through as you recline on the sofa. In the kitchen you'll find an Aga, along with all the amenities you need to rustle up some tasty home-cooked meals. On sunny days you might prefer to cook outside on the barbecue, and enjoy your feast in the fresh air before retiring to one of the quirky bedrooms for a great night's sleep. The hamlet of Childswickham has its own pub and bistro, just seven minutes away from your front door. Broadway, with its tea shops and boutiques, is just two miles away, and there are plenty of picturesque walks through the gorgeous Cotswolds – don't forget your hiking boots. And, when you get back home, make sure you mix a cocktail at the bar area and enjoy it in the beautiful garden room – it might even be the best spot in the house.
