This grand Victorian property has one of the best seats in the house. Peek out through the bay window and you'll be able to spot the Grade II-listed Garth Pier — the second-longest in Wales — as well as the Menai Strait and the isle of Anglesey just beyond that. The home itself is equally impressive in our eyes. The interior has been renovated recently, although there's a preference for classic trends, as seen with the parquet flooring, chandeliers and wood-burning stove. That being said, there's a sprinkling of modernity about in the shape of a sleek kitchen and bathrooms. Out the back, there's a patio area with a bench for sipping morning coffee and breathing in the sea air first thing in the morning. It's remarkably easy to fill up an itinerary here as well — Penrhyn Castle and Gardens takes just five minutes to reach in the car, while Snowdonia National Park starts ten minutes' drive away.
