Squirreled away down a quiet country lane in the pretty North Cornwall village of Tresean, you’d hardly believe the golden sands and grass-tufted dunes of Holywell Bay are just a five-minute drive from this coastal hideaway. But believe folks. Set back from the crowds of Newquay (a thirteen-minute drive away if you feel like joining the bustle), you’ve got North Cornwall’s best surfing and dog walking beaches all within easy reach for lazy days of paddling, sandcastle making, and fun on the water. Back at home, this newly renovated home is a study in chic coastal styling. But the key to the house’s success has to be the open-plan living space downstairs, with bifold doors leading out onto the raised deck. When the sun shines, it’s out here soaking up the sprawling countryside vistas and meeting the resident horse in the paddock where we bet you’ll spend most of your time. Upstairs, you’ll find one hug of a bed in the three light-filled, pristine bedrooms. Though prepare for a tussle for that main suite with an en-suite shower room and private balcony – it’s quite the setting for your morning cuppa and toast.

About Cornwall

Believed to be the birthplace of King Arthur, the ancient kingdom of Cornwall (or Kernow as it's known to locals) is a magical place of myths and legends. It is also bestowed with some of the most beautiful beaches in the southwest, if not the country. We're talking Porthcurno Beach with its Caribbean like waters, the hidden oasis of Whitsand Bay and the pristine white shores of Kynance Cove, a...
