The dream Parisian retreat for two, with room for two little extra guests, this pretty apartment in the heart of the city's most bohemian neighbourhood has views across the rooftops to the top of the Sacré-Coeur itself. At the top of a charming period building, it's a cleverly modernised attic space with plenty of style. Right up on the sixth floor, you'll feel tucked away from the busy city streets, in your own little world. Numerous windows and skylights keep it bright, while white walls are mixed with vaulted ceilings, wood floors and touches of exposed brickwork. Open to the living room, the bold teal kitchen units are quite a statement, with a big kitchen island where you can sit in the sunshine with your morning cup of coffee and plenty of house plants trailing their way across the beams and shelves. Two cosy sofas provide a lovely seating space and a cosy dining nook is set back behind the room. And, with space at a premium, both bedrooms feature a mezzanine area – the one in the pretty children's bedroom offering a magical sleeping space for a youngster. Just a short stroll from Montmartre, and with a choice of Metro stations nearby, it's in a great location for exploring the city, and you'll find restaurants and shops just outside your door.
