Set in a quiet street, right in the centre of the city, Romulus makes the most of its great location. It’s a newly renovated apartment that marries clean, modern lines with more traditional features such as ceiling beams and a mantelpiece, and the super king-size beds add an element of luxury. Some of the artwork will be divisive and, because of the layout, there isn’t a tonne of natural light, but despite these issues, Romulus has an air of calm that makes it an excellent tonic to a day sightseeing.
