Trastevere is the bohemian heart of Rome, where the locals go at night to escape the tourists and reconnect with the soul of the city. Trendy bars, buzzing trattoria and boutiques fill the medieval streets and there’s a tram stop a few steps away which can have you at the Colosseum in twenty minutes. Hosts Ekaterina and Valentina have gone into great detail with the design of the apartment, and the results give the place a real personality. Vibrant feature walls embrace a distinctly 70s aesthetic alongside pin-striped armchairs and a bright yellow and white kitchen wall. We love the flower mosaic tiles in the kitchen which are pure vintage class. Stick something on the record player to set the mood in the evening, and start the day flipping through one of the fashion mags before heading out to one of the trendiest spots in the city.
