The location - on the main square in Trastevere - and the terrace set Church Bells apart from the crowd. The latter, in particular, is special, placing you in the midst of the terracotta rooftops and church towers. It’s difficult to think of a better place for an evening spritz. Inside, the apartment is comfortable and well looked after, but certainly on the plainer, more sober side. This is understandable though, as we can’t imagine you’d ever want to step off the terrace.
