The minimalist interiors really let the many beautiful architectural details shine through – the amazing array of original floor tiles had us swooning the minute we crossed the threshold.     There's no AC which in summer months would definitely be a blessing

    There's not enough space for all eighteen guests to dine together at the same table

    There's not much in the way of entertainment – books, sound system etc.

    The communal areas could do with a bit more low-level mood lighting
