This is an opulent apartment with varied textures and colours in the heart of the city. At first glance, you'll notice a rustic interior with original brick walls and plenty of natural light, however, the design and styling of this apartment work overtime to fulfil the home's potential. Gold-finished wire chairs, green velvet chairs and a chesterfield sofa reveal a hidden passion for art deco and mid-century aesthetic, while colourful bathrooms remind us that we're in the world capital of traditional azulejo and backsplash tiles. In true Portuguese fashion, the home has a cosy and friendly ambience with antique china plates adorning the walls and Aztec throws dotted around. Outside, you're only a five-minute walk from Chiado with a flurry of bars and restaurants, while the ever-so-trendy Bairro Alto district is under fifteen minutes on foot from your door. There, you'll find great shopping, music-filled fado tavernas and quirky boutiques lining the streets. It's the best spot to explore Portugal's ever-emerging and oh-so-charismatic capital city.

About Saldanha

Saldanha is the uptown business district of Lisbon, filled with designer shops and upscale restaurants that contrast the modern buildings where many locals spend their working days. But it's not like Saldanha closes down after five – there's plenty of residents who appreciate the neighbourhood's sleek look. As a consequence, Saldanha has a great fresh food market, a few cosy cafes, parks and everything else you might need for a great stay. The traffic connections are fast and abundant, meaning most parts of Central Lisbon are only a short train ride away.
