At this charming south London home, you’ll be smitten from the moment you walk up to the property. With a traditional Victorian façade, its window frames have been painted in a lush shade of charcoal to give it a modern and sophisticated edge (they also incidentally match the sleek TV room inside the home). Perfectly set up to house a family, we love the bright living area which effortlessly opens up into a huge garden with an expansive lawn, barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven — we probably don't need to tell you how rare it is to find outdoor space like this in London. The surrounding area is mainly residential with many young families and Clapham Common is only fifteen minutes' walk away. However, if you ever fancy a change of pace, it takes half an hour to get into central London from the nearby Clapham North underground station.

A truly modern family, Matthew (formerly a finance professional) is a stay-at-home dad, while his wife works in banking. During school holidays and on most weekends, they try and escape to their home in Dorset for some fresh air and a little breathing space from the city.
