This mansion isn’t in one of London’s prime locations like most of our homes, but we couldn’t pass up this stunning addition due to the impressive design and excellent value for the exceptional amount of space
Streatham is an up-and-coming area - if you prefer more upscale settings, you may want to look elsewhere
Streatham doesn’t have an Underground station but is does have 3 well-serviced train stations with Overground trains to Victoria and London Bridge
The main living room and kitchen can take a bit longer than usual to warm up to a comfortable temperature

Catherine is an interior stylist and author of several creative books and Michael is an architect who has designed and restored many houses in London. Parents of two daughters and two loveable dogs and frequent travellers to their second home in Spain, they’ve mastered the art of detail and creating beautiful, thoughtfully-designed spaces for their guests to enjoy.
