This imposing and wonderfully spacious three-level family home sits on the border of affluent Santa Monica and Brentwood neighbourhoods. It's got a super glamorous kitchen, a sparkling turquoise pool, and fab entertainment areas for movie nights in. There's space for al fresco dining and a fire pit to relax around with a glass of wine in the evening. Three of the bedrooms are on a lower ground floor level so are somewhat lacking in natural light but we won't hold this against an otherwise fabulous home.

Home truths

There are only 7 proper bedrooms so guests 15 & 16 would be sleeping on a sofa-bed in the living space

3 of the bedrooms are on an underground level and so are not exactly flooded with natural light

The neighbourhood is quite quiet - if you want a vibrant bar scene right on your doorstep then you might want to look elsewhere

This is a family home - quite a few of the bedrooms have personal belongings in them

It's arranged across three levels with no elevator so be prepared for some up and down
