We came away thinking this is one of those homes that show how mixing different interior design styles can make for a truly unique space. As well as exposed brickwork and smart parquet flooring, the open living area is filled with mid-century-inspired furniture and more house plants than a millennial's Instagram feed. The marble countertops and statement lighting in the kitchen feel en vogue, while the bold tiling in the bathroom is eye-catching in all the right ways. It would feel remiss not to mention the fact that there's an upright piano in the living space, too. With this much consideration went into the design, it almost feels a shame that guests are sure to be tempted outside to explore the surrounding tenth arrondissement. Canal Saint-Martin is only five minutes' walk around the corner if you fancy a waterside wander, while the galleries and restaurants of Le Marais are only twenty minutes down the road on foot.
