Home truths

This home is not for minimalists – there’s a lot of personal belongings and it might be a little too cluttered for some

Heavy packers be aware – there’s not a lot of space for unpacking your suitcase

There’s currently no printed home manual – it’s on the host’s computer

There was some construction going on inside the home when we visited – it might get noisy

A dog lives here a lot of the time, so while she won't be around, it's worth knowing about

Guests 3 and 4 would be on a sofa bed in bedroom two

It is a lived-in home – expect a little wear and tear here and there

About Kerem Hateimanim

Nestled in between the Carmel Market and the beach, you'll find Kerem Hateimanim, a small neighbourhood founded by Yemeni immigrants in the 1930s. It’s come a long way since then, and today it’s been taken over by bohemian Tel-Avivians looking for affordable housing. Even though Kerem Hateimanim is in the process of being gentrified, the neighbourhood hasn’t lost the authentic, village-like feel that’s beloved by many. There are still plenty of the original Yemenite restaurants around, which are worth a visit, even if you don’t end up staying in this part of the city.
