Click to book Monnier's Way now: from £404 per night Show up and start living the Parisian life at this immaculately-presented Haussmannian apartment, located right in the heart of the 9th Arrondissement district. Inside, the original exposed stonework in the bedrooms and an intricate wrought-iron balcony that sweeps the entire length of the property show the bones of this historical building. But elsewhere, the home has been completely reimagined for seamless, modern living with marble-clad finishes and statement lighting adding a dash of contemporary cool. And with two separate living areas to spill out into, it would perfectly suit a large group of friends or family coming together. Click to book The Pantry now: from £126 per night When you’re picking a home in Paris, it doesn't get much more French than staying in an old bakery. While there are no longer baguettes and pains aux raisins being freshly baked each morning, you’ll still find plenty of treats in this loft. Two minutes from Bonne Nouvelle metro stop, you'll enter through a charming shop-front exterior where the decor will immediately wow you. The overall feel combines retro-chic and country-house vibes. We loved the monochrome floor tiles – reminiscent of sixties Paris – contrasting with the bright blue panelled walls in the main living space. There’s a real playful feeling to this cheery little home. The bedroom is located up an impressive wooden staircase, taking you up to the mezzanine loft floor. And you’ve got a cute kitchen if you do want to try making your own bread – of course, if not, there’s plenty to eat nearby in this chic quarter of the city. With the Palais du Louvre and Centre Pompidou both a twenty-minute walk from your boulangerie home, make the most of the diverse architecture around you. You're also just over fifteen minutes from Le Marais, one of Paris’ most creative and arty regions. After boutique shopping and checking out street art, stop in at a cocktail bar as the street lamps light up. Sleeps up to 2 | 1 Bedroom | 1 Bathroom

The interior follows a chic monochromatic theme, but it also scores highly in the comfort stakes, too. It would suit a large group or family planning to split their time between hitting the must-dos of Paris and discovering a neighbourhood that's brimming with activities and attractions, including Le Centre Pompidou — less than fifteen minutes' walk away. Despite this enviable position in the middle of the French capital, we found it to be quieter than we were expecting. Sleeps up to 8 | 4 Bedrooms | 3 Bathrooms

Click to book Psychedelia now: from £244 per night Like a firework, this small but mighty apartment in Montmartre is full of psychedelic patterns and vibrant colours to whisk you back to a bygone era. Stepping in to look around the decor, you'll find a bright and cosy living space where 60s chic meets industrial design – from the soulful photographic wallpaper to the wooden chandelier – to stay here is to have a truly unique experience. Sink into the purple chesterfield sofa and play games around the orange coffee table while sipping your evening apéritifs. The explosion of colours continues into the shower room which has been decorated with slick white and canary yellow tiles. But in this trendsetting, bohemian apartment, you'll notice some things never change – a rooftop balcony from which to admire the views of Paris below remains the real star of the show. We can think of nothing better than starting your day with a flakey croissant and a coffee out here. When – full of caffeine and inspiration – you do eventually set off, you're right in the thick of Montmartre's rich history and charm. As well as nearby Saint Georges and South Pigalle, we recommend walking to the stunning Sacré-Coeur Basilica – a sixteen-minute stroll from your hipper-than-hip home-away-from-home.
