Monnier's Way, Paris, France
Click to book Monnier's Way now: from £404 per night Show up and start living the Parisian life at this immaculately-presented Haussmannian apartment, located right in the heart of the 9th Arrondissement district. Inside, the original exposed stonework in the bedrooms and an intricate wrought-iron balcony that sweeps the entire length of the property show the bones of this historical building. But elsewhere, the home has been completely reimagined for seamless, modern living with marble-clad finishes and statement lighting adding a dash of contemporary cool. And with two separate living areas to spill out into, it would perfectly suit a large group of friends or family coming together. Open the balcony doors as you enjoy a morning coffee - it's a wonderful spot to watch life unfold on the streets below. And when it's time to play out your own Parisian life, you won't have far to go. Stroll along the pretty tree-lined boulevard where this apartment is perched, to discover antique stores and independent boutiques aplenty and when thoughts turn to food, mosey round the corner to the authentic food markets with all the fromage and baguettes you could possibly muster. As day turns to night, follow the hipster crowd down to the Pigalle district (three minutes on foot). With authentic cafes, happening bars, dance clubs, and everything else in between, you can easily keep the night flowing here. Sleeps up to 10 | 3 Bedrooms | 2 Bathrooms
The Pantry, Paris, France
Click to book The Pantry now: from £126 per night When you’re picking a home in Paris, it doesn't get much more French than staying in an old bakery. While there are no longer baguettes and pains aux raisins being freshly baked each morning, you’ll still find plenty of treats in this loft. Two minutes from Bonne Nouvelle metro stop, you'll enter through a charming shop-front exterior where the decor will immediately wow you. The overall feel combines retro-chic and country-house vibes. We loved the monochrome floor tiles – reminiscent of sixties Paris – contrasting with the bright blue panelled walls in the main living space. There’s a real playful feeling to this cheery little home. The bedroom is located up an impressive wooden staircase, taking you up to the mezzanine loft floor. And you’ve got a cute kitchen if you do want to try making your own bread – of course, if not, there’s plenty to eat nearby in this chic quarter of the city. With the Palais du Louvre and Centre Pompidou both a twenty-minute walk from your boulangerie home, make the most of the diverse architecture around you. You're also just over fifteen minutes from Le Marais, one of Paris’ most creative and arty regions. After boutique shopping and checking out street art, stop in at a cocktail bar as the street lamps light up. Sleeps up to 2 | 1 Bedroom | 1 Bathroom
Lady Spades, Paris, France
Click to book Lady Spades now: from £476 per night This contemporary apartment with a sleek and mischievous personality is located close to Porte Saint-Martin — a fantastic spot for those looking for a thriving locale that's also ideal for visiting the central sights. The interior follows a chic monochromatic theme, but it also scores highly in the comfort stakes, too. It would suit a large group or family planning to split their time between hitting the must-dos of Paris and discovering a neighbourhood that's brimming with activities and attractions, including Le Centre Pompidou — less than fifteen minutes' walk away. Despite this enviable position in the middle of the French capital, we found it to be quieter than we were expecting. Sleeps up to 8 | 4 Bedrooms | 3 Bathrooms
Psychedelia, Paris, France
Click to book Psychedelia now: from £244 per night Like a firework, this small but mighty apartment in Montmartre is full of psychedelic patterns and vibrant colours to whisk you back to a bygone era. Stepping in to look around the decor, you'll find a bright and cosy living space where 60s chic meets industrial design – from the soulful photographic wallpaper to the wooden chandelier – to stay here is to have a truly unique experience. Sink into the purple chesterfield sofa and play games around the orange coffee table while sipping your evening apéritifs. The explosion of colours continues into the shower room which has been decorated with slick white and canary yellow tiles. But in this trendsetting, bohemian apartment, you'll notice some things never change – a rooftop balcony from which to admire the views of Paris below remains the real star of the show. We can think of nothing better than starting your day with a flakey croissant and a coffee out here. When – full of caffeine and inspiration – you do eventually set off, you're right in the thick of Montmartre's rich history and charm. As well as nearby Saint Georges and South Pigalle, we recommend walking to the stunning Sacré-Coeur Basilica – a sixteen-minute stroll from your hipper-than-hip home-away-from-home. Sleeps up to 4 | 1 Bedroom | 1 Bathroom
Monnier's Boulevard, Paris, France
Click to book Monnier's Boulevard now: from £151 per night Give studio-living a whirl at this chic apartment housed in a grand 19th Century Haussmann building, perched right in the heart of the 9th Arrondissement district. An area famed for its bustling authentic markets, just two minutes from your door, you'll find a food market with enough local fares to graze the whole day away, and antique stores and independent boutiques aplenty on your doorstep for browsing. Those drawn to the evening bustle should follow the hipsters down to the Pigalle district (three minutes on foot), where you'll find authentic cafes, happening bars, dance clubs, and everything else in between. Or, for a change of pace, visit the city's original and most famous opera house, Palais Garnier (nineteen minutes on foot). And when it's time to discover other gems of this city, just hop on the metro (three minutes on foot). Back at home, the designers have cleverly made use of all the space – there's even room for a cosy sofa to sink into with some pre-dinner drinks. In the neat kitchen space, a breakfast bar for a tête-à-tête over a fresh brewed coffee and croissant is a great spot to start the day, and the lack of an oven is the excuse you were looking for to eat out each and every day. Sleeps up to 4 | 1 Bedroom | 1 Bathroom
