Nestled in Torca on the Amalfi Coast, this charming and eclectic villa is perfect for a family trip or small gathering with friends. Its stunning sea views and hilltop location make it the ideal spot for those seeking a slice of Amalfi life. The enclosed garden, terrace, and private pool allow you to make the most of the panoramas. While you'll need to pay to use the car park just 50m away, the highlights of this coastline are within striking distance, and you won't want to miss out. Nearby, you can find cliffside bars serving homemade Limoncello and the crystal-clear waters of Recommone Beach.

Aqua Nostra

This modern villa with sea view terraces, a shared swimming pool and steps down to the water's edge is the perfect base for families or groups of friends. Set on a private residence just 200m from the sea and a short 2 km from Massa Lubrense, where you can find shops and restaurants.

Amalfi Coast Dreams

In a quiet, peaceful position, this lovely property is ideal for families and groups of friends. The villa has a beautiful garden, a terrace with panoramic views of Capri and the Amalfi Coast, and a pergola for outdoor dining. The interior is spacious and comfortable, with a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and four bedrooms. The villa is located near the little village of L'Annunziata and the town of Massa Lubrense, making it the perfect base for exploring the Amalfi Coast.

The Land of Capri

This home boasts lovely sea views from its position facing the Gulf of Sorrento. You’re just a short drive from the centre of Sorrento and can also easily reach Positano and Amalfi for day trips – though there’s plenty to keep you entertained at the villa, too. We love the pool with a hydromassage feature and an outdoor shower. There’s also a handy poolside changing room with a bathroom. Gym bunnies can stick to their workout schedule in the on-site gym, which also has a sauna. And if you’re in town for business, there’s a meeting room and office here. There's really something for everyone. 

The Lazy Sea

Perched atop a hill, this villa offers views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the island of Capri from its sun terrace. Families and friends alike will love the private swimming pool, and there’s an alfresco dining area for sharing Italian-inspired meals. While the interior style won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, the comfortable bedrooms with private balconies are sure to please. You’ll need a car to get around – Sorrento and Recommone Beach are a twenty-minute drive away.

Tyrrhenian Breeze

Gorgeous views of rolling hills and the Mediterranean? Count us in. The panorama can be enjoyed from the terrace (complete with an alfresco dining table and sun loungers) and the Jacuzzi, the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail. With a full house, two guests will be on the sofa bed, and the only bathroom is the ensuite. But for families or a couple, the apartment is the perfect Sorrentine base. When it's time to explore, you'll find the coastal towns of Massa Lubrense and Sorrento a short drive away. And when you want to stay closer to home, you'll find plenty of eateries within walking distance.

A Sorrentine Serenade

This tranquil home-from-home is in Massa Lubrense, just 500 metres from the little town of Torca, and 900 metres from beautiful Sant’Agata Sui Due Golfi. From here, you can easily explore Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, as well as Fiordo di Crapolla, which is great for hiking. The villa boasts sea views and a delightful terrace with a Jacuzzi and a barbecue. It’s a modern home with sleek features, though two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room – it’s not the most comfortable set up, but at least they’ll get to wake up to stunning views.

Like a Landscape

Take a seat on the scenic rooftop terrace and look out over the tree-covered hillside that plunges down to the sea, where pleasure craft and colourful fishing boats bob in Marina della Lobra. 

This charming two-storey apartment makes the most of its seaside spot with an upside-down layout – bedrooms on the entrance level, and an open kitchen and living area on the first floor, leading out onto that show-stealing terrace. Floor-to-ceiling doors fold back to allow easy access to the outdoors, where you can soak up the sun on the rattan-style seating, pop the umbrella up for some respite from the midday sun, or barbecue a banquet for the whole party on the grill. 

White and blue dominate the decor throughout, reflecting the azure hues of the sea and sky, plus the occasional passing cloud. The main bedroom also boasts its own private balcony that opens out onto fragrant lemon and olive trees that are used to create all manner of sumptuous local products.

During the summer months, boat trips depart from the marina to explore the breathtaking natural and manmade beauty of the Lubrense coast, the enticing island of Capri and the sheer cliffs of Amalfi. While there might not be a beach to speak of, the rocky shore makes for a great base for cooling swims in these protected waters. Alternatively, hop in the car for a short drive to any one of several sun-lounger-lined beaches nearby, or continue along winding coastal roads to the breathtaking towns of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.

Sunset Lounge

Located at the foot of Lattari Mountains, on the outskirts of Sant’Agata sui Dui Golfi and 9 kilometres from Sorrento, this minimalist home is a place for taking it easy in the glorious Italian sunshine. Inside, white-washed walls and floors are brightened up with pops of blue and red in the open-concept living space, creating a soothing yet uplifting atmosphere.

If you like to keep active on your holidays, stretch your legs with a ramble through the Sentiero delle Sirenuse hiking area, located a short drive away. Or why not spend the day exploring the fascinating Pompeii Archaeological Site. Return to your abode in the early evening for a relaxing soak in your bedroom’s free-standing tub before watching a knockout sunset from your private terrace – we think it’s an experience best enjoyed with a limoncello spritz in hand.

Located in the unspoilt countryside of Massa Lubrense, you’ll find ample opportunities for hiking, while the scenic town centre (also known as the ‘Land of the Sirens’) is just a short drive away. And for explorations further afield, you’ll find both Sorrento and Positano are within easy reach. 

Vision of Beauty

What is there to say about this truly magnificent, timelessly elegant holiday home other than it offers its guests an unparalleled taste of authentic Italian luxury and the opportunity to live a week or two (or three, or four…) in the manner of a count, or as a member of the original glitterati who once populated this bedazzling peninsula. Indeed, this home, parts of which date back to the 16th century, boasts somewhat of an illustrious history, having played host to well-known names from the spheres of politics, art, and entertainment – including former US president Gerald Ford and original prima ballerina Carla Fracci among other stars of stage and screen. 

Turning off Il Nastro Verde – or ‘the green ribbon’, a road which runs from Sorrento to the village of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi – and onto a cobbled track, the home slowly emerges from behind its veiling cloak of leaves. Built from volcanic rock and adorned with vines, the building itself gives the impression of having emerged from the landscape, figuring itself as a natural feature of its spellbinding surroundings. 

Step inside, and in many ways back in time as you try to take in the plethora of original features that look as though they have been lifted straight out of a film set, or animated from the canvas of some famed Italian artist. Carefully selected furniture compliments a seasoned wood ceiling that has overlooked the various comings and goings within the home for centuries, whilst the tile floor has in many places been worn to a fine patina by the many feet which have trod over it. A cherished collection of art and fascinating photographs festoon the walls, showcasing not only the villa’s history but also the care and devotion bestowed upon it by the owners.

Though the feel of this home is distinctly old-world, its captivating charm imbued with a certain fairytale-like essence, the amenities you can enjoy are anything but outdated. Keen home cooks in particular will rejoice when they see the traditional-style kitchen. Intricately tiled and finished with that archetypal Italian blend of gleaming highly polished wood and elegant marble that’s cool to the touch, the collection of bright copper pots and pans hanging overhead (not to mention the store of prestigious vintage wines and cured meats to be found in the vaulted cellars) will inspire anyone to cook – from the rustiest amateurs to fricasseeing virtuosos! Whip up mouth-watering pasta dishes laden with regional cheeses and sprinkled liberally with aromatic herbs, or take things alfresco at the authentic wood-fired pizza oven. Whilst this home is good for the soul, providing a glimpse into history and a way of life now dissipating, it may not be so good for the waistline!  

The outdoor spaces provide plenty of seating areas nestled among free-formed lushly verdant gardens lovingly planted with synchronistic flora and fauna, or on the various terraces that look out over the gently undulating landscapes around Massa Lubrense and the stunning Sorrento countryside. Its hillside location among ancient lemon and olive groves makes this an ideal choice for those of you with an inclination towards wandering, as you will find numerous paths winding through untouched greenery and shaded by walnut trees to explore on foot. 

Amazing views over the shimmering Bay of Naples and Salerno await you in the nearby hilltop village of Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi whilst the inimitable Amalfi Coast, with its emblematic pastel-hued villages clinging implausibly to rock faces that plunge into aquamarine waters, are within easy reach by car.

The Green Ribbon

Perched on a hill overlooking the Bay of Naples, this home is truly lovely. Spread over three floors, with a living room, kitchen, bedrooms and at least one bathroom on each floor, it’s an ideal base for a few families to share. Everyone can enjoy their own space and still gather together easily. 

We love the outside space here, whether it’s the sunny private swimming pool and the sun loungers alongside it, or the balconies. You can prepare your breakfast and morning coffee and take it outside to enjoy in the sunshine, all the while drinking in those marvellous views. You can always find a spot in the shade too, ideal for the afternoon when the Italian sun is beating down on the tiles.

Inside, you can enjoy the view from the living rooms and kitchens too. Windows are a big part of the traditional decor here, so if you need to take a break from the sun you won’t miss out. The bedrooms are elegant and pretty, with something to love about each room. Will you go for the four-poster bed and make the most of having your own piano? Or might you prefer to have a sofa to read on in the mornings? There’s so much charm in this delightful home.
