The symmetry of Castor is almost absolute. The two bedrooms are pretty much identical (except for the bedside lamps) and revolve around the central kitchen. Character perhaps wasn’t at the top of the agenda when the place was designed, but it’s very comfortable and the bathrooms are both very big for Rome. There’s also the bonus of no squabbling over who gets which room – they’re as good as each other. 


Castor

Just a few blocks from Roma Termini station, it's fair to say this home places you right in the heart of Rome. With the open-plan living space perfect for spending time together, we think the home is great for both families or a group of friends. Having two bathrooms is always a bonus, and the hot tub bath is sure to go down well with your guests. Be sure to pick the brains of your knowledgeable host, who is more than happy to share tips on where to check out as you explore. 

The Marcellus

Perfect for two, this apartment makes a cosy base for your Roman adventure. It's outside the city centre, but with a metro station nearby and plenty to do in the local area, you won't miss out. After all, you're about 2km from the Vatican and less than one from the greenery of Villa Doria Pamphili. Inside, you'll find a sofa bed for guests three and four, a desk for remote working, and a breezy open-plan living area. That said, our favourite feature here is the balcony - we can't think of a better spot to enjoy an alfresco Aperol Spritz.

Roman Venus

With unparalleled views of Piazza Venezia and Capitoline Hill, this penthouse has four terraces and decadent decor. We think it's great for romantic getaways, and if you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a free cot. At full capacity, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the studio – this has its own en-suite like the other bedrooms, giving everyone the same level of privacy. The large terrace has plenty of space to enjoy the surrounding views and dine alfresco. You might hear some outside noise due to the central location, but this home makes exploring a breeze. You'll find several of Rome's famous landmarks easily reachable on foot, including the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain.

Keeping Time

Stretching across three levels with multiple terraces, this penthouse apartment sets the tone for an unforgettable stay in the Eternal City. You can admire the views from the rooftop and there are two Jacuzzis as well as exercise equipment. At full occupancy four guests will be sleeping on sofa beds, but this is a great option for groups and families in search of ease, comfort and a great location. From here, you can stroll to restaurants, bars and shops. Plus, you’ll find it’s just a short walk to major sights like Piazza Venezia, the Vittoriano and the Trevi Fountain. 

Fountain of Grace

It doesn’t get more central than this fuss-free apartment. You’ll be moments from the Spanish Steps, so close you can actually glimpse the monument's tower from the small Romeo and Juliet balcony. While it's not the most modern home, we think it works well for couples. Two guests will sleep on a sofa bed, while the others will kip on the mezzanine underneath the rustic beams. The kitchen is compact but well-appointed, though it’s best suited to antipasti rather than full meals. For those who want to spend most of their time sightseeing, it’s a good option.

Sweet Juliette

Overlooking the rooftop of the Roman National Museum, this apartment delivers the perfect setting for an inspiring city stay. Inside, you can admire the views from the living room or while relaxing on the covered terrace. Paid parking is available here and your host is on hand to help organise a range of extras – including breakfast delivery and airport transfers. Outside, it’s just a short walk to Piazza della Repubblica, and you’ll find great public transport links – Termini Station is less than ten minutes away. 


Modern Beauty

This apartment is nestled in residential Monte Sacro, making it ideal for laid-back stays. Simple yet comfortable, it comes with all the essentials – a fully stocked kitchen, a second bedroom with a desk and sofa bed ideal for remote working, and even air conditioning. The cherry on top is the private balcony, perfect for drinks alfresco. As it's quite far from the tourist spots, it suits those who prefer to explore locally. You'll find an array of shops, eateries, bars, and parks nearby, while central Rome can be reached by buses or the metro at Conca d'Oro Station – it's about a fifteen-minute walk away.

Gialla

Keen to be in the heart of Rome? Well, this apartment is just seconds from the Spanish Steps and walking distance from Rome's most famous shopping streets, restaurants and panoramic spots. In fact, you're so close to the action you can glimpse the steps from the window – that surely takes sightseeing to a whole new level. The antique interiors are pure Italian charm (albeit a little dated), but there's ample space for the whole group in the many lounges and bedrooms. And the cherry on top is the quaint balcony, where you can relax with a glass of wine and soak up the Roman ambience.

Staircase Scenes

Calling all history buffs. This apartment is a ten-minute walk from Circus Maximus and twenty from the Colosseum. It's a prime locale for sightseeing, though if shopping and sampling Italian cuisine is more your speed, you're never too far from a delicious restaurant or the fashionable boutiques in the city centre. Contemporary to a T, the building has a communal gym and a smart home system. It's not the biggest in terms of space, especially with one guest on the sofa bed, but we think the private balcony is a sweet bonus – there's no better spot to enjoy an Aperol Spritz.

A Winged Chariot

This stunning 2-bedroom apartment is the perfect place to stay for your family holiday in Rome. The apartment is located in a quiet area just a short walk from the Vatican and the city center. The apartment features a bright and spacious living room with a comfortable sofa, TV, AC, dining table and exquisite design details. The separate modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals during your Roman holiday. The beautiful master bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed, TV, AC and a safe inside the closet. The second bedroom has AC and two single beds which can be the perfect solution for a family holiday. The bathroom with shower has been recently renovated like the rest of the apartment. There is free high speed Wi-fi inside the apartment. There is a separate and private laundry room on the upper floor with washer and dryer. 
The apartment is very close to the Vatican, it's a beautiful walk along the Vatican walls. The area is very well connected via public transport, supermarkets and restaurants are also close by.

Little Vatican

It’s hard to define the ‘perfect’ location in Rome, but Pantheon Vista makes a good go of it. Overlooking the famous dome, it’s just a stone’s throw from sights like Campo de’ Fiori and institutions like Caffè Sant’Eustachio. The interior is elegant, although the lack of natural light in the kitchen is a shame given the lovely cabinets and fittings. Two of the sofas double up as single beds, and the host is happy to have a party of four, but we think it might get a bit cramped and there’d be very little privacy, so only recommend it for two people.
