With a private rooftop terrace and more-is-more opulent interiors, you can see why this former mansion apartment in Old Jaffa caught our eye. The location is bang-on too. The vast sands of Charles Clore Beach are just a few minutes walk away, and countless buzzy cafes and restaurants line the history-rich streets surrounding the home. An apartment of this heritage has its quirks – so expect the communal hallway and terrace to feel a little tired in places. However, the same can’t be said for that impressively well-equipped kitchen. It’s perfect for rustling up lazy brunches to savour on that showstopping terrace.
