This minimal and modern pad is located in the vibrant Salamanca neighbourhood and offers an ideal stay on the doorstep of El Retiro Park and the city’s iconic landmarks. The apartment itself is stylish, with an open-plan kitchen for sharing dinners at home, though we know the city’s eateries are sure to beckon you out. With space for four guests, your host can also provide a travel cot for little ones upon request. Most sights are easily reachable on foot, though should you wish to take public transport, the Velázquez metro is just a few steps away.

Local guide

About Salamanca

Salamanca is Madrid’s most glamorous and prestigious quarter. Usually associated with aristocratic façades, wide avenues, and luxurious living (atypical for Madrid’s cosy centre), the neighbourhood attracts domestic and international elite. It’s also home to many embassies and private schools, as well as niche museums and designer boutiques along its ‘Golden Mile’. The demanding clientele has made the food scene equally exclusive, but while you’re likely to find quite a few Michelin-star restaurants in the area, there are lots of relaxed tapas bars for those less willing to splash the cash.
