Cosy and comfortable, this apartment is a delightful base in Madrid. The apartment is spread over two floors, with a convenient home office for those needing to work during their stay. At full occupancy, one guest will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the office. We love the minimalist decor of this laid-back home. If you’re in town for sightseeing, you’re in a great location. The Serrano metro station is a few minutes away, and you can also stroll to popular sights including Palacio Real de Madrid and Puerta de Alcalà.

Home truths

There’s a desk here for those needing to work during their stay. It’s in the small home office, where there’s a sofa bed for guest number five.

Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.

Parking in Madrid can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport system. The nearest metro is Serrano.

Your host kindly asks that you respect the quiet hours from 11pm-8am.

There are stairs to climb at this home, so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.

Tall guests will need to take care under the sloped ceilings.

About Salamanca

Salamanca is Madrid’s most glamorous and prestigious quarter. Usually associated with aristocratic façades, wide avenues, and luxurious living (atypical for Madrid’s cosy centre), the neighbourhood attracts domestic and international elite. It’s also home to many embassies and private schools, as well as niche museums and designer boutiques along its ‘Golden Mile’. The demanding clientele has made the food scene equally exclusive, but while you’re likely to find quite a few Michelin-star restaurants in the area, there are lots of relaxed tapas bars for those less willing to splash the cash.
