The lounge feels instantly cosy with the fire crackling and the many traditional features on display – though, given that it's a period home, steep stairs and sloped ceilings are to be expected. Come summertime, the suntrap garden is a delightful spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the fresh air. It's also dog-friendly, so two of your furry friends can tag along for a fee. Location-wise, Hook Norton is home to old-world pubs, a quaint selection of shops, and an award-winning brewery. Though cosy, we think the interiors here are slightly dated. It's also a period home, so expect low beams, sloped ceilings, and a steep staircase.
