Location is essential for a city break – you want to be close to the sights so you don’t waste precious time. This studio apartment is perfectly positioned for exploring many of Paris’ major sights, particularly the Louvre and Jardin des Tuileries. You’ll also be just five minutes on foot from Jardin du Palais Royal. Home truths

Parking in Paris can be tricky so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport system – Palais Royal–Musée du Louvre metro station is a short walk away.

This apartment is on the second floor of the building with no lift so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.

We think the kitchenette is better suited to preparing light bites and snacks rather than full meals, though you’ll have plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby.

This is a studio apartment so the living, dining, and sleeping space are one and the same.

Local guide

About Louvre - Palais Royal

Where to begin with one of Paris's most majestic and central districts? This was the stomping ground of historic kings, and now its grand palaces and squares are home to museums, galleries, government offices, and luxury shopping. With no fewer than three Royal palaces, the attractions are plentiful in this neck of the woods. If checking out the Mona Lisa with throngs of tourists isn't your thing, we recommend exploring some of the area's quieter hidden gems. Colonnes de Burennes has a gorgeous secret square and Alain Ducasse's world-famous French restaurant 'Le Meurice' is just around the corner.
