From Satsuma's living room, you can look out onto the Venice canals. It’s a romantic spot, and it would be easy for the host, Mark, to use that as the only selling point. Luckily, he’s put far more into the house. The design is striking and individual, with the vaulted ceilings and concrete floors, while touches like the All-Clad pans add a little extra. It’s worth mentioning the missing air conditioning, though it’s surprisingly all right as there’s a decent breeze coming in over the water.
