Set in a renovated home that dates back to 1880 and opens up to a beautiful garden, Lykke (meaning happiness in Danish) is all we want from a Copenhagen home. Bright and luminous, it sets the scene for a wonderful holiday with the family. The immediate neighbourhood has a distinct character (it’s on the quiet side), but it’s filled with beautiful buildings and swanky villas. We love the delicate combination of colours, Danish design icons (Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton), and the eye-catching posters from the host’s own company.

Host
This home is managed by Lars
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Lars and Maria have been hosts since 2012. They live in their Frederiksberg home with their two daughters, which is why they prefer like-minded families to stay in their home (it oozes family with a capital F). An experienced documentary filmmaker, Lars travels a lot, so we’re sure he has a lot of interesting stories to share.
