Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
The Elevador de Santa Justa is one of the most iconic sights in Lisbon, and this home is only a five-minute stroll away, while São Jorge Castle is a ten-minute walk. You don’t have to go anywhere to admire Arco da Rua Augusta on Praça do Comércio, though – just open the shutters and take a look out of the window. This home is perfect for those who want to admire the architecture and stay close to the landmarks while enjoying modern industrial design. The iron centrepiece that separates the kitchen from the dining area is our favourite – in terms of functionality and aesthetics. After a busy day of sightseeing, get some well-earned rest in the comfy bedrooms, ready for the next day’s adventures.

About Mouraria
With street performers, Fado shows and lots of unmissable sights, Mouraria should be at the top of your list. A trip through its narrow streets is like stepping back in time, revisiting the rich cultural background even before the great earthquake of 1755. In fact, the story goes that Fado was born in Mouraria, and it’s since made its way to the UNESCO World Heritage list. Although it’s quite central, this neighbourhood has a strong local community and an independent art scene that will show you a side of old, nostalgic Lisbon that you won’t find anywhere else.
