For anyone in search of a simple and refreshing coastal escape, this home delivers a practical solution. The decor and furnishings are a little dated, but you'll find family-friendly rooms and plenty of space to relax and unwind. Outside, the private pool, hot tub and terrace take centre stage, plus there's a play area for children and lots to explore in the surroundings. It’s just under 2 kilometres to the nearest beach, while the centre of Calpe is about 8 kilometres away. We suggest renting a car for ease.

    While not all of the rooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.

    At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the ground-floor bedroom. We think this is best for children.

    If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and a high chair on request.

    One small dog is welcome to join you here.

    The decor here may not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts and there are some signs of wear and tear.

    Please note this home is spread across two floors. There are also steps leading down to the pool.
