We were very impressed with this peaceful city retreat. It's located next to the canal, so you have lovely views of the water and canal boats, which makes for a welcome juxtaposition to the busy city streets. It's also an especially quiet home, located in a secure, private complex. The layout of the home works really well, with a generously sized living room, bedrooms and two large balconies to enjoy. The icing on the cake was Katelynn, who is a diligent and attentive host.

About Haggerston
Haggerston is Shoreditch's Northern neighbour. It's a laidback area where you'll be rubbing shoulders with some of London's hippest young creatives and artists, without the tourists that have now well and truly arrived in Shoreditch. Broadway Market is within walking distance and Regent's Canal is another major draw - our favourite spot down by the water is The Towpath Cafe, a great place to chill out with a coffee and start writing that novel.

Take a long walk along Regent's Canal
One of the prettier walks in the city. You can join the canal close by, and then wander down towards Little Venice. Look out for the bookshop on a barge as well.
Stop for some Hammock Time at Arepa & Co
A beautiful Venezuelan restaurant by the canal with hammocks to sit on and relax with a delicious South American meal. Romantic, sunny and happy, what a treat.

Situated in a beautiful spot along the canal, this cosy venue attracts hungry customers come rain or shine. Their signature meal is their brunch in a bun - it's as tasty as it looks.
